The recent HEMIS Institute was a great success having a different format from the previous ones. This time around, the discussions were more interactive and hands-on, as opposed to the more formal 'presentation' approach of the past. It was good to have direct access to the DHET (Dr Engela van Staden & Ms Jean Skene) as well as the HEQC (Ms Tamara Bezuidenhout). We look forward to the next SAAIR event, the IR Institute (18-20 August 2010). Below is the group photograph taken at the HEMIS event.

Australasian AIR ...

The Australasian Association for Institutional Research (AAIR) Forum is to be held on the 10 - 12 November 2010, at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Geelong. Each year AAIR holds a major international conference to bring together experts and professionals to promote the exchange of ideas and developments in the field of institutional research. The 2010 Forum will mark the 20th anniversary of such events for AAIR.
